Adaptive Distributed Network-Channel Coding for Cooperative Multiple Access Channel

In this paper, the authors propose an adaptive distributed network-channel coding for a cooperative multiple access channel where M users cooperatively communicate with a common base station. The aim here is to increase the system average code rate over the recently proposed Generalized Dynamic-Network Code (GDNC) scheme without reducing its diversity order. This is done by adaptively choosing the number of parity packets transmitted based on the success/failure of the BS in recovering the information packets.
