Ads-Portal Domains: Identification and Measurements

An ads-portal domain refers to a Web domain that only shows advertisements in the form of ads listing and does not have real content. Generally, third-party advertisement syndication servers (domain parking services) provide the ads content to ads-portal domains. Recently, the existence of such domains on the Internet is more apparent. It is not uncommon for Internet users to come across such domains either accidentally or on purpose. Ads-portal domains are useful in showing related (to their domain names) ads content to users performing so called Direct Search.
