When it comes to business leadership, one can reframe Einstein's famous formula E=mc? as: Energy = magnetism (multiplied by) collective confidence. As a leader, ones' team's level of energy and enthusiasm stems directly from both the magnetism - "the power and ability to attract or influence others" - and the collective confidence oneself and the team project. Whether one lead engineers, marketers, or accountants, one can power up the team by adopting the following strategy: Keep the head up. Ultimately, leadership happens between the ears. First, one must see oneself as having what it takes to succeed. Second, one must adopt a physical presence that reflects self assurance.
