An Approach to Design and Optimization of WLAN Patch Antennas for Wi-Fi Applications
Micro strip patch antennas have been widely used in a various useful applications, due to their low weight and low profile, conformability, easy and cheap realization. In this paper, an attempt has been made to investigate new micro strip antenna structure for Wi-fi systems. The aim of this work is to obtain an efficient and economical patch antenna for indoor and outdoor uses. At present, dipole antenna is used indoor the portable devices such as laptops, mobiles, Smartphones, etc. and helix antenna is used as outdoor antenna for routers, modems, switches, etc.
