An Efficient and Scalable Bio-PKI Model Using Bio-Etoken in Bio-PKI System
In a network, for remote accessing to a DataBase Server (DB Server) user usually has an account with a username and a password. But in fact, the password can be lost, cracked, stolen and the authentication process can be attacked (man-in the-middle attack). Current approach for Bio PKI system based on physiological characteristics of persons, known as biometrics, provide solutions to security problems. In this paper, the authors present a new efficient and scalable model of Bio PKI system using embedded devices and an application for remote access control. The Bio PKI infrastructure could provide multi-secure layers with Bio-Etoken, Bio cryptography protocol, digital signature to enhance the security of remote authentication process.
