Knowledge Management (KM) has emerged as a vital new approach to problems associated with novel forms of organizing and distribution of knowledge. It eases the capture, storage, and dissemination of knowledge using information technology. Methods for knowledge management have turned out to be a significant issue in the past few decades, and the KM community has developed an extensive range of technologies and applications for knowledge management in both academic research and practical applications. Nevertheless, a considerable number of them do not support the elicitation and representation of knowledge specific to particular domains. In this paper, the authors present an efficient tree-based system for knowledge management in edaphology.
