Ultra-WideBand (UWB) technology is a promising area of research now-a days because of its attractive features like high speed (>480 Mbps), low power, and low cost. Multi-Band OFDM (MB-OFDM) is an attractive transmission technology to efficiently utilize the 7.5GHz bandwidth allotted by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for UWB. Wireless propagation channel plays the most crucial role in an effective receiver design. Recent studies show that UWB channels contribute to frequency dependent dispersive effects, the transmitted signal. Here, each path in a multipath channel has its own frequency dependent Impulse Response or the transfer characteristics, which is defined as the fundamental difference between a narrowband and an UWB channel.
