An Information Accuracy Based Mesh Division Mechanism for Cognitive Pilot Channel
In the Beyond 3G (B3G) radio environment, the cooperation of different wireless technologies has become an irreversible trend. The challenge for reconfigurable terminal is how to select an appropriate Radio Access Technology (RAT) in a multi-RATs environment. Successful selection establishes on full cognizing of surrounding radio environment, however, the cognitive process causes extra burden to terminals. To solve this problem, the Cognitive Pilot Channel (CPC) is proposed to send necessary network information to terminals. In this solution, to ensure reliability of CPC information and raise working efficiency, the coverage region of CPC is divided into several meshes.
