The present research attempts to investigate the effect of types of workers i.e., skilled and unskilled on work Stress. The study examines the incidence of work stress in reference to the problems that arise due to the interaction of work Stress with type of workers. The extent of work stress were examined on its twelve sub-scales, i.e. role overload, role ambiguity, role conflict, unreasonable group and political pressure, responsibility for persons, under participation, powerlessness, poor peer relations, intrinsic impoverishment, low status, strenuous working condition and unprofitability of Occupational stress index. It was hypothesized that there will be significant difference in skilled and unskilled workers on all 12 subscales of occupational Stress.
