Analysis and Performance Evaluation of Technique to Increase the Call Capacity of WLAN

WLANs have created the revolution in the field of communication. They replaced wired network by flexible wireless network. VoIP over IEEE 802.11 WLAN is one of the most growing technologies. WLANs were initially designed to transfer the non real time data. But today it is also used for the transfer of real time data. Initial protocols were defined for non real time data transfer. As the real time data transfer started, then new techniques are developed. The delay plays an important role in the voice transfer from source to destination. In this paper new technique is proposed to increases the call capacity in the WLAN.
