Analyzing Performance of Proactive and Reactive Routing Protocols for Manets
Mobile ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes dynamically forming a temporary network without the use of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration number of routing protocols like Proactive and Reactive protocols have been implemented. Various research communities are working in field of MANET and trying to adopt the protocols and technology in other applications as well. In this paper, the authors study and compare the performance of the proactive and reactive routing protocols DSDV and DSR. For experimental purposes, they have considered network size 50 nodes and illustrate the performance of the routing protocol across Packet Delivery Ratio parameter.
