The basic aim of this paper is to identify and analyze the definition and role of success in business relationships. The paper introduces theoretical differentiation between firm success and relationships success, and after it the major characteristics of relationship success will be interpreted. The main outcome of the theoretical and empirical part is that relationship success can play important role in relationship development, and different success dimensions can be relevant in each development stages. In order to confirm the previous statement, the result of short case study will be also introduced.
