In this paper, the authors have proposed a new image steganographic technique capable of producing a secret embedded image that is entirely indistinguishable from the original image by the human eye. Data bits from textual message are embedded about the entire image to some suitable pixel positions. Initially the root pixel position is selected depending on the key value and the remaining is considered as the child nodes are calculated in binary tree. As a result, they get a watermarked image which is almost imperceptible to human survey. Subsequently they have taken a biometric image as a key image. Then, they have done the bitwise XOR operation pixel by pixel by using both the watermarked image and key image.
