Cloud computing from the last few years has rapidly grown from a promising business concept to one of the fastest growing segments of IT Enterprise. It is an internet-based model that allows customers and enterprises to have an appropriate, on-demand pay-per-use network access to a shared pool of resources such as networks, storage, servers, application programs and services that do not require end-user awareness of the physical location and other computing infrastructure details. This distinct paradigm brings about many new security challenges. This paper explores the benefits of using cloud in financial industries and additionally studies the problem of assuring the integrity of financial data stored in Cloud.
