AutoCAD uses PC3 files to configure and customize printers. The plot configuration file stores information about the media and plotting device. By default, PC3 files are stored in the following location. AutoCAD uses PMP files to customize paper sizes, plotter margins and to calibrate a plotter. By default, PMP files are stored in the following location. AutoCAD uses CTB or STB plot style tables to store collections of plot styles assigned to a Layout or the Model tab. There are two types of plot style tables: color-dependent plot style tables (CTB) and named plot style tables (STB).
