America's banking crisis will hit home during the next budget cycle for cities, schools, museums, airports, hospitals, performing arts centers and other nonprofit and government organizations that issue tax-exempt bonds, two Bank of America managers said Oct. 10 at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Ariz. The country's crumbling infrastructure will only make things worse, investment banker Erin Gore told students in the financial services class of F. John Mathis, Ph.D. Gore, who manages the education and nonprofit group at Banc of America Securities, said three U.S. bridge collapses in the past 12 months should serve as a warning.
