Multiple-Input - Multiple-Output (MIMO) wireless systems use multiple antenna elements at transmit and receive to offer improved capacity and data rate over single antenna topologies in multipath channels. In such systems, the antenna properties as well as the multipath channel characteristics play a key role in determining communication performance. This paper presents a Bit Error Rate (BER) analysis of the Zero Forcing (ZF) and Minimum Mean Squared Error (MMSE) equalizers when applied to V-BLAST wireless Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) systems for M-QAM, M-PAM, M-PSK M-DPSK modulation schemes for 1x1, 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 array.
