While an abundance of white papers exists on "How to Select an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System," most papers tend to focus on functionality requirements, technology issues and total cost of ownership. Though it's important to verify that the product features, platform and price of a system meet the requirements of the organization, there are six additional key elements that are often overlooked in ERP selection projects.
