Blocking Behavior Analysis of Optical Switching Networks

One of the issues in optical networks is the problem of blocking which should be considered in order to fully exploit the benefits of the high speed optical networks. The strictly non-blocking conditions for the optical networks usually cause a lot of hardware cost so a new class of networks came into being called the re-arreangeable networks in which there was no need of any extra planes and a conflict free path can be established by rearrangement of the existing connections.
