Breakthrough Beverage Application
This paper summarizes about new innovations in dairy-based beverages. Sometimes the best new ideas are simple ones. Looking at a familiar problem from a fresh perspective can result in new solutions and opportunities. This is exactly what dairy researchers from the Northeast Dairy Foods Research Center (NEDFRC) at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, have done with milk to create a new generation of dairy ingredients. The beneficiaries of this innovative thinking are not only dairy processors, but also infant formula manufacturers; soft drink companies; producers of nutritional, sports and energy beverages; and many other types of food and beverage companies.
