Third parties which collect the data generally offer an acceptable reporting piece which provides the general public with a good sense of the how, when, where, and why. For those of them that want to dig a little deeper, several offer a fairly easy way to access this data and feed it into different programs to do their own analysis. This paper will illustrate a drop-in method, utilizing a few simple macros and cURL that may be utilized to import website analytics data from Google Analytics directly into SAS data sets for further analysis.
