Automatic Budget Reallocation (ABR) is a method by which the Financial Records System (FRS) automatically transfers budget dollars from predefined budget pools to specific line items within the pool. This transfer is activated whenever a transaction is posted to a line item within a defined budget pool. The required budget is automatically transferred, or reallocated, to the line item. The purpose of ABR is to provide a means of monitoring budget balances available at significant levels of revenue or expense.
