Is the job as educators to teach students how to make ethical decisions or is it to teach students how to become innately better people, thus becoming better ethical decision-makers on the job? This paper examines current teaching methods in business ethics. An argument for the necessity of ethics education lays the foundation for a review of ethical philosophies, paradigms, and methods used in business ethics education. Cragg's (1997) philosophy of the ethics of doing is applied to several teaching methods, including case study, interactive role play, and Socratic dialogue.
