The project scope in essence is the dimensions of the project fulfillment. It is the lengths to which resources must be spent in order to cover the defined aspects of the project's functionality. It is also the width that the project will facilitate in its functionality. The "Area" formulated by these two aspects is the basis for the project itself. Also the depth of the functionality is a by-product, as well as a direct result of the project scope, although the depth of the project itself is determined by the intended results of the project, rather than the guidelines by which the previous dimensions adhere to. Finally, the total volume, which is created by these aspects, is the project scope itself.
