The rapid rate of technological change implies that in order to compete globally, SMEs must be able to adapt to and keep pace with technological progress. Strong ICT capabilities are crucial with increasing reliance on internet-based business-to-business (B2B) community portals for services and expansion of business. The essential elements of a contract for sale whether in the real world or Cyber space and the actual performance of the contract which is the delivery of goods or services remain the same. One of the main difficulties in the formation of an online contract is authenticating the terms of the offer and acceptance in the event of dispute.
