In this paper, the authors use an alternative implementation of the RLS based Linearly Constrained Minimum Variance (LCMV) receiver for Multi-Carrier (MC) CDMA systems. As a result of this implementation a new blind channel estimation algorithm is proposed. It is shown through computer simulations that the resulting receiver filter achieves nearly the same performance than previously proposed methods, while reduces the computational complexity. Current Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems may become impractical when the data rate reaches very high speeds. The very short chip duration leads to severe Inter-Chip Interference (ICI) due to multipath fading channels and difficulties of synchronization.
