Clustered Time Synchronization Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks

A time synchronization algorithm based on Cluster for WSN was proposed for WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) - (CTS) Clustered Time Synchronization algorithm for WSN. This algorithm consist of two phases: in the cluster-inter synchronization phase-It adopt pair-wise packet exchange mechanism to achieve time synchronization between the base station and cluster heads through establishing a hierarchical topology structure. In the cluster-intra synchronization phase - It used reference broadcast mechanism to achieve time synchronization between the cluster heads and cluster members. The purpose of this algorithm is to set the logical clock of the cluster heads and cluster nodes with global time.
