Communicating Embedded Systems by Implementing Different Networking Options for Real Life Applications
Standalone embedded systems are having its limitations of display and control from the place of its installation. Importance of networking in present-day data communication hardly needs any elaboration. The situation is also similar in the case of interconnection of embedded systems, particularly those which are distributed over a dispersed geographical area or limited area - the so-called distributed embedded systems. Implementing these networked embedded systems with different networking options are available. Unfortunately, the most common network standard, namely the Ethernet, is not suitable for such distributed systems, especially when there are real-time constraints to be satisfied.
