A rectangular microstrip patch antenna has a variety of feeding techniques from which microstrip line and coaxial feeding technique is presented in this paper. This work is an effort to design, model, simulate two different types of microstrip antennas feed like transmission line and coaxial feeding techniques on a similar sized rectangular microstrip patch antenna. Simulation is done using the HFSS 12.0. Designs for each feeding technique achieved the best return loss (RL) at the desired frequency range of 2.4 GHz (ISM Band). The simulated result also shows that the proposed antenna design has a good bandwidth (BW) and radiation performance.
