Comparison of the Experimental and Simulation Results for Distributed Virtual Environments Applications Framework
In the authors' previous work, they developed Caffe Neve framework that allows application developers to create flexible and extensible Distributed Virtual Environments (DVEs) applications from the distributed components. The components can serve as remote content sources that stream down interactive 3D content to the application integrator. Since DVEs are interactive, multi-user and networked systems, it is important to ensure good responsiveness and overall performances of the developed applications. They investigate the performance of the integrated applications to evaluate the framework capability.
