Cooperative Diversity in HSDPA Network

HSDPA (High Speed Data Packet Access) allows high-speed downlink data flow in WCDMA network. It uses all remaining power after power for DCH (Dedicated CHannels which are power controlled) Channels and other channels (CPICH (PIlot CHannel), SCH (Synchronization CHannel), PCH (paging channel) is reserved on Node-B since HSDPA channel is not powered controlled. This causes increased inter-cell interference for neighboring cells. In this work method, that improves performance in terms of outage probability and shares interference increase between two neighboring cells, is proposed and analyzed.
