Cross-Layer Based Qos Routing Protocol Analysis Based on Nodes for 802.16 Wimax Networks
A cross-layer framework to favor the video-on-demand service in multi-hop WiMax mesh networks. This will guarantee that the required data rate is achieved for video streams, which is crucial for multimedia streaming applications. An efficient and light-weight multicast routing technique is also proposed to minimize the bandwidth cost of joining a multicast tree Cross-layer design for Quality of Service (QoS) in WiMax has attracted much research interest recently. The research on traditional cross-layered architecture which has served well for wired networks seems to be inefficient and not suitable for the wireless networks.
