RFID anti-collision is one of the most important issues responsible for slow growth of the technology. Hence, there is an alarming need to study and analyze the existing anti-collision protocols in the light of their performance. The objective of this paper is focused around presenting the impact of data load on the identification time and hence the performance of the ISO 18000-3 mode 1 and ISO 18000-3 mode 1 "Extended mode" Radio Frequency Identification anti-collision protocols. A simulation analysis of the same has been carried out and results have been drawn in this paper for the betterment of the technology.
