Design and Implementation of Artificial Neural Network Architecture for MANET on FPGA Platform

This paper presents and FPGA implementation of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is applied in Wireless Ad-Hoc NETwork (WANET) for the performance optimization of Routing protocol and its Hardware implementation using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). Artificial Neural Network is designed using MATLAB and its digital architecture implementation is described using Very High Speed Integrated Circuits Hardware Description Language (VHDL) and implemented in an FPGA chip. The design is implemented and verified on virtex-5 FPGA demo board.
