An appropriate design of band limited low sensitivity Frequency Dependent Negative Resistance (FDNR) was considered. This is based on the use of a mathematical model for the input impedance of the FDNR circuit, using Voltage Controlled Current Sources (VCCS). Computer programs were designed for simulation. Plots of optimum frequency spectrum are obtained. Also, sensitivity studies and optimization of parameters, yielding low sensitivity were undertaken. The optimization of Q-sensitivity is achieved by the approach of circuit design adopted in this work. A more general case for sensitivity of this particular design was the actual Q-sensitivity of the active resulting design. An attempt is made to depict the stable modes of operation for the FDNR circuit, using the Qsensitivity approach.
