Detecting Intention-Violation Feature Interaction in NGN Based on Feature Re-presentation

Date Added: May 2010

In the evolving telecom networks such as Next Generation Network (NGN), service design is open to the third-party. The feature logic will be kept private for business purpose. This makes it hard to detect Feature Interaction (FI) with the static method as usually, because the feature can not be specified with formal languages. To solve this problem, dynamic method can be employed. When implementing this kind of method, however, FIs caused by violating user's intention are difficult to deal with, for violation of user intention is hard to express.
