Fortune, if not a fortune, favors the brave. Or the innovative. If the industry is confronted with one of the worst crises in its history, the safe thing to do would be to put the launch of new services on hold, no matter how innovative. Historically though, great companies have found ways to capitalize on market disruptions to deliver breakthrough innovations and enduring value for their customers. Tomorrow's successful Financial Institutions (FIs) will be those that better prepare for a future in which financial services will be manufactured and delivered more innovatively, and consumed much differently.
