Dimensionality Reduced Decoding for the Golden Code With the Worst-Case Complexity of O(m1.5) for Low Range of SNR
The multiple antenna technique with space-time coding is efficient to communicate reliably on multipath wireless channel at high-data rates. The golden code is a well-known space-time code for two transmit antennas that is full-rate, fully diverse and it has better Bit-Error-Rate (BER) performance than other known codes for two transmit antennas. Hence the golden code is recognized as a method for wireless communication in the 802.16e standard. As an optimal coding scheme, Belfiore, Rekaya and Viterbo introduce the golden code in and then independently a dissimilar variant of golden code is proposed by Dayal and Varanasi.
