However, IMS (Identity Management Systems) have been crucial as the information society is getting bigger. IMS provides a description of the infrastructure within one or between several organizations that have agreed upon a mutual model of trust in managing and using identities. Identity management or ID management is a broad administrative area that deals with identifying individuals in a system (such as a country, a network or an organization) and controlling the access to the resources in that system by placing restrictions on the established identities.
