Distance education in its various forms has proven that it is here to stay. These delivery forms include courses that are completely online, those that include a few in-class meetings while otherwise relying on the internet, and a range of other methods that do not require students to attend class. For many students, the relative costs in terms of time, energy, competing priorities - and sometimes gasoline - make online learning less burdensome than attending class in person. Many students still sense the need to change or enhance their careers in today's challenging world, and distance learning provides additional flexible options to help make this happen.
