The next to come urban scenario will be pervasively equipped with a huge of road side hotspots and Wi-Fi access points enabling pro led and mobile users to access the desired contents with some logical or functional scope. Today, the most part of the mobile computing services are rigidly server-centric: imagine that Alice meets Bob and wants to share some content with him. With a traditional approach, this content must first travel to a server located somewhere in the world, be processed and then resent back to Bob; clearly, this is only possible under the condition of Internet connection availability. Notice that these entire complex communication infrastructures are imposed even if Bob is actually close to Alice!
