Dual Polarized Antenna for Wireless Communication
In this paper, the authors present the design of antenna operating in ISM band at 2.4GHz. It is designed for dual polarization application. This antenna consists of a square patch with an inserted plus slot is at centre, dual probe feed and a ground plane. The antenna will realize on substrate FR4 with relative permittivity of 4.4 and loss tangent of 0.02. The simulation process is done by using High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). The simulated results have shown that, it has more than 15dB isolation with a moderate antenna gain of 5.99dB.
