Dynamically Adjusting Network Topology for MANETS by Using DBET
In MANETS, network topology vary according to nodes, nodes are usually powered by batteries. To prolong the network life, the energy consumption of the routing task is crucial. In previous works, enormous topology control methods were given to support the energy-efficient routing, while the most of them are designed for static network. The authors proposed an energy efficient topology in Ad-hoc networks can be achieved mainly in two different .In the first method, network maintains a small number of nodes to form a connected backbone and the remaining nodes sleep to conserve energy. The second method is achieved by power control technique.
