Project Management

Effective Communication For Project Managers

Free registration required

Executive Summary

Project Managers are more productive when given the responsibility to actually manage the tasks at hand. It's very important that the Project Manager be present at any and all meetings or conference calls regarding any project which they will be working on, rather than just sending a memo or communicating meeting information to them second hand. If they are to properly manage the project, they need to be constantly informed of any changes, and be allowed to be present during discussions which will educate or explain details of the project. On top of being present at these meetings, Project Manager should have a close business relationship with the department heads and decision makers who are also working on the project.
