Web is a valuable source of information and it is expanding at an enormous speed. Web Information Retrieval is the application of Information Retrieval concepts to the World Wide Web. In web information retrieval the caching is a crucial performance component of large-scale web search engines, as it greatly helps reducing average query response times and query processing workloads on backend search clusters. The proposed web information retrieval system retrieves information from server as well as from the hybrid factors based caching technique. The caching technique in the proposed system uses recency, frequency as well as occurrence probability based raking system for information retrieval. The proposed system is experimented and its results are analyzed to visualize the performance.
