Electricity Market Reform: Lessons For Developing Countries
This paper presents the doctoral research done during the first year of the PhD study. The research is concerned with the analysis of the outcomes of electricity market reforms that have been put into practice in more than half of the countries in the world. The analysis is predominantly empirical with a special focus on electricity industries. Originally, this research was inspired by the experiences of the author, who was working for the energy market regulator in his home country before commencing his PhD studies in Cambridge.
