Empirical Evaluation of Reputaion Based Trust in Semantic Web
Though research on the Semantic Web has advanced at a balanced pace, its promise on trust is yet to be investigated as it is a fundamental component of belief for consuming services. This paper describes a Reputation based Trust in semantic web and evaluates the trust based on the QoS factor reputation. It proposes a method to address this problem by defining the trust function based on Bayesian and Sunny trust algorithms that allow the users to individualize their trust calculation. The proposed algorithm is modeled with awareness of the properties namely transitivity, composability, and asymmetric.
