All too often, the Business Analyst (BA) is unable to focus upon the right areas during a project due to a lack of enterprise analysis prior to the project. Because of this lack, the BA is forced to do requirements elicitation at too many levels at once rather than having focused requirements analysis at the business level leading to requirements elicitation and subsequent analysis at the functional level.
