The problem of face detection is Vast. Many techniques have been used for detection of faces from the given set of images. In this paper, the authors present use human skin color to detect faces as main components. Detection results shows the components having skin color. Adaboost is used to classify the skin and non-skin areas. They proposed skin boosting as variant of Adaboost for detecting faces. The skin boosting algorithm gives one a clear boundary or specifically a hyper plane that separate skin and non-skin areas for detecting face and non-face features of any individuals.
