Executive Summary

JMP Scripting Language (JSL) offers an interface to OpenGL for three-dimensional graphics. This paper presents several new examples illustrating the aesthetics and interactivity of JSL 3D graphics: a DNA helix, human and bacterial chromosome maps, the Stanford Bunny test model, 3D pie charts, and a bright star and constellation viewer. This paper highlights the key features of each script, including ways to utilize mouse actions (both movement and click events) and associative arrays.
